Clark Gable’s Dakota crashed at Perdiswell, Worcester .

Idiots Delight crashed at Perdiswell in 1942 it carried General Spaatzs and Clarke Gable.

De Haviland Tiger Moth.

This is the aircraft type in which hundreds of young men were taught to fly at Perdiswell, Worcester during the 1939-45 War. From this basic trainer they went on to bravely fly, and die, in Spitfires, Hurricanes , Lancaster’s, Beaufighters, Mosquitoes and a wide variety of general purpose aircraft. Max.
