Fires In schools the facts……………….
——————————————————————————–
The number of school fires each week is on the increase and BAFSA, Compco and all sprinkler firms are aiming to lobby the Government and local councils to fit sprinklers as a standard.
It is shocking the statistics of how often a school is burnt to the ground, and what affect it causes on pupils education from disruption. Let alone the monies spent from our Income tax, Community charge etc to rebuild these schools, and re-house pupils for the duration.
In additional each fire causes huge carbon deposits into the atmosphere and so is also not ozone friendly.
Compco Fire wish to make this knowledge country wide, and so would like you to visit this web site to see for yourself the facts. If you have any influence in local Government or know someone who can assist in making sprinklers standard in all schools and public places.
Contrary to myth the build cost for sprinklers in schools is about 1.3 to 2.5% of the value, which will reduce insurance costs, and protect the school for many years to come, thus paying for itself within 3 to 5 years time. Something that a expensive floor or fancy facade cant do.
If you would like further information, or see the need for sprinklers in any of your forthcoming projects then, please do not hesitate to contact anyone at Compco, BAFSA or your preferred sprinkler company.

John Sinclair.
